Mary Beth Knight, PhD, RYT-200

Mary Beth Knight, PhD draws inspiration for her teaching from her twenty-year career as a higher education administrator, most recently at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she also led movement and mindfulness classes. Mary Beth is a 200-hour certified yoga instructor and has completed training in mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR). She is on a mission to tap movement and mindfulness in helping the workforce, especially women, enhance their lives and leadership.

A wellness & movement workshop for professional women

demands of our busy lives demand new tools in our toolkit to optimize well-being and performance. You will leave this workshop refreshed and equipped with a TRIO of TOOLS to
help build your best life.

  • Breathwork – Breathing exercises can be done from anywhere and transform your mindset in minutes. Bounce back with your breath.

  • Gentle Yoga Movement – A little movement goes a long way to fuel your busy schedule. And, when you focus on moving your body, you release your brain to rest, creating new pathways for problem-solving.

  • Mindfulness Practice – Time spent pausing to savor the present moment is well worth it. It helps to reduce stress and feelings of overwhelm, while boosting concentration. And who doesn’t need a little bit of quiet?


What you’ll take home:

  • A Movement Cue Card for a 15-minute practice that doesn’t require Spandex.

  • Wellness Calendar that integrates the TRIO of TOOLS alongside meetings, calls, and personal commitments.

  • A Community to cheer you on, including an optional wellness partner from the workshop.​
